Selecting Your Language and Fluency Level
When you first create your account, either on the web app or in VR, you will select the language that you wish to learn (your target language) and take a proficiency test to find your fluency level. However, this can be changed at any time to allow you to take classes for any language and at any level!
Changing Your Target Language and Fluency Level
There are two ways to change the language you are learning in Immerse: from your Homeroom and from your account settings in the web app.
📢 Attention! You must change your language to view the schedule of lesson and any of your booked classes for other languages.
Changing Language from Your Homeroom
You can update your fluency level and target language right from your Homeroom if you are logged into Immerse:
Enter your Homeroom
Select: Profile Picture > Overview > Language Focus > Pencil Icon > Language > Save Changes
Changing Language from Your Account Details in the Web App
Log in to your account via the web app.
Click on your profile picture to open your account settings.
In My Account, you can change the language you want to study in Account Info.
Click the Confirm button after changing the language.
A Success message will appear at the bottom right of your screen.
Identifying Your Current Language
After changing the language, you can go back to the schedule page and you will see classes for your newly selected language.
You will also be able to see this change on the home page of the WebApp once you log in.
