How to mute, hide, flag or report a Member

How to Mute a Member

You can mute other members by clicking the "MUTE" button under the "People" tab of the Settings Menu.

  • Open your settings menu by clicking on the 3 dots on your inside left wrist, by pressing the X button on your left controller, or by clicking the gear icon on Desktop.
  • When muted, a "MUTED" tag will show beneath the muted Member's name that is only visible to the Member who did the muting.
  • Muting is available in classes, The Commons, and Practice Scenes.
  • Muting will reset once Members leave.
  • Members who are muted can still hear other Members.

How to Hide a Member

Members can hide other members by clicking the "HIDE" button under the "People" tab of the Settings Menu.

  • Open your settings menu by clicking on the 3 dots on your inside left wrist, by pressing the X button on your left controller, or by clicking the gear icon on Desktop.
  • When hidden, a "HIDDEN" tag will show beneath the hidden Member's name that is only visible to the member who did the hiding.
  • The hidden Member's avatar will be replaced with a less intrusive "coin."
  • Hiding is available in classes, The Commons, and Practice scenes.
  • Hiding will reset once members leave.
  • A hidden Member can still see and hear the person that hid them.

Quick Mute/Hide

Members can also MUTE or HIDE other Members by clicking on the name tile above the other Member's head.

How to Flag a Member

While in class, if you are experiencing issues with another Member or notice them breaking Community Guidelines and wish for the Guide to handle the situation immediately you can flag a member.

To flag another member during class:

1. Open your experience menu by clicking on the 3 dots on your inside left wrist, or by pressing the X button on your left controller.

2. Under the experience tab, click "view" button on the member you wish to flag.

3. Click flag and your Guide will be privately notified.

How to Report a Member

If you notice another Member breaking our Code of Conduct or Terms of Service , or if you encounter problems with another Member, we ask that you fill out a Member Report form to let us know so we can take care of it! 

You can locate the Member Report form any time by clicking on your profile icon on the WebApp. Or can click here to fill out a report now.
