Meta Avatar Presets use some of the same skins as the AI Conversation Partner Avatars in Community Scenes and Self-Paced Lessons.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why do I need my own Meta account to have a customized Meta avatar?
Why do I need my own Meta account to have a customized Meta avatar?
Each Meta account is limited to one associated avatar. Therefore, while you have your own IMMERSE account, logging into a headset using a different person's Meta account will display their Meta Horizon avatar, not yours. You cannot create a custom avatar within IMMERSE.
Can I connect the avatar I use for Facebook/Instagram?
Can I connect the avatar I use for Facebook/Instagram?
Yes, but you must first link these accounts through your Meta Accounts Center and you can only switch between them from inside the VR app.
To make changes, log in to IMMERSE in VR and edit your avatar. You will be presented with your options and can select which avatar to modify or use in IMMERSE at that time.
Keep in mind that changing your avatar for one profile will automatically update it on all other profiles using that same avatar outside of IMMERSE.
Why do some interactive objects vanish after being placed on my Meta avatar body within a scene?
Why do some interactive objects vanish after being placed on my Meta avatar body within a scene?
Due to the variety of Meta Avatar body shapes and clothing styles, some wearable objects might not display correctly once put on. Accessories or objects worn in scenes are temporary. They will not remain on your avatar when you switch locations.
Is there an avatar dress code for Live Classes?
Is there an avatar dress code for Live Classes?
While Meta provides a wide range of customizable and unique avatar outfits, we appreciate your avatar being dressed appropriately for a professional learning environment. If an avatar's attire is considered too scandalous (e.g., too revealing, swimwear, lingerie, or topless) or offensive (e.g., includes swear words or negative symbols), the user will be asked to change the outfit before being permitted to return to the class.
Can users switch their preset avatar during live scenes?
Can users switch their preset avatar during live scenes?
Currently, users do not have the ability to change their preset avatar once they are in a live scene. However, you may observe Guides switching avatars if they are utilizing an IMMERSE stock option for a specific role-play scenario within the class.
