⚠️These particular gift cards can only be used for subscriptions started on the WebApp or when creating an account online, as these are processed through Stripe. They cannot be applied to VR subscriptions under Meta accounts. Users with an active subscription through Stripe are still able to log in and access the VR application.

Redeeming an IMMERSE Gift Card

As a recipient you will have received an email containing your unique code for subscription. This code is also printed on the physical handout, if that option was selected. The steps to redeem the gift card depend on where you are in your learning journey with IMMERSE. Please choose one of the options below to redeem your gift.

New User

Create a new account
Select the subscription plan that matches your gift card's value.
Enter the code from your email into the Add Promotion Code field in the checkout window.
Provide your payment details. (This is required for the system, but your gift card will cover the cost after the trial period, so you will not be charged now.)

Existing User - Never Subscribed

Log in to IMMERSE on the web.
Exit full screen mode.
Click > QUIT GAME, to go to the web app account and subscription management page.
Click > Subscription
Select your preferred subscription tier and membership plan

Please contact our support team at [email protected] to have the code applied to your pre-existing and actively subscribed account so that it can be used when your subscription renews again. Active subscribers are unable to add promotional codes in Stripe checkout windows unless they are changing plans.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a gift card received from IMMERSE via Tremendous be used as payment for a subscription renewal?

Stripe's billing platform does not support split payments for subscriptions. Therefore, electronic VISA gift cards (like those received from Tremendous for surveys or interviews) can only be used for Stripe subscription payments if the gift card's value exceeds the cost of the subscription tier and plan you are purchasing. Gift cards with a lesser amount cannot be added as a payment method for a subscription.

However, Electronic Visa Gift Cards may be usable within a Meta Wallet. Meta's billing platform permits split payments across various payment methods in a Quest Wallet, which can then be applied toward a subscription charge according to their terms. Where can I buy a Meta Quest Gift Card?

If the person I want to buy a gift card for is on a 3 or 6 month legacy subscription plan, what should I do?

Purchase a 1-month gift card and then the customer should contact support with their code. Once applied manually to their active account, the gift card amount will be credited toward their next renewal.
