Similar to Guess Who™, opponents will each be assigned an avatar on the board. They then need to ask questions and guess their opponent's character based on visual traits, clothing, accessories, or activities being done using the target language. 👨🏫 Tailoring the Language: Simple or Complex Challenges
This game is adaptable to any level of language complexity. You can tailor the difficulty by choosing the types of questions asked.
Beginner Levels : Questions can focus on observable facts like a character's appearance, their location within the scene, or the actions they are currently performing.
Examples: Does your person have blonde hair? Are they a woman? Does your character have a mustache? Are they wearing a hat? Is your character inside the building? Are they being physically active? Can they play an instrument?
Advanced Levels: Questions can become more abstract and creative, exploring hypothetical situations, past habits, or personality traits to make the game more engaging.
Examples: Did your person get enough sleep last night? Does your person look like they would like classical music? Would your character save an animal from a burning building? Does your character appear to have the moral complexity to be a representative of the United Nations?

How do I zoom in and view details when the characters appear small?

Are there plans for new game boards?
This is currently under review. Please submit a feedback ticket if you would like this to be prioritized.

Can others nearby see my character selection on the screen and potentially help the other team cheat?
A privacy barrier is set around the screen, requiring others to be within a couple of inches to view the selected character.
Will others in the scene hear me practicing during the game?
Proximity audio is set around the game station, limiting the sound of gameplay to roughly a 3-foot radius to avoid disturbing others' conversations in the scene.
I find other people in the scene distracting while playing with my friend. What can I do? You have a few options:
Create and join a private instance so you have the entire scene to yourselves.
In the public scene, you can mute and hide others so they cannot interrupt you. However, please note that they will still be able to hear you.
Alternative Language Activity Ideas
Eye Spy
Explore the environment and challenge your partner to find objects based on your description. For example: “I spy something that is round and red.” This is a fantastic activity for practicing descriptive language and location words. You may even wish to switch it up and describe what the object is used for or what type of person might have one.
Take a Photo and Recreate It
Snap a photo of a specific area and describe it in detail to your partner in the target language. Your partner must recreate the scene based on your description. Afterward, compare the recreated photo to the original to discuss similarities and differences.
Spelling Bee
Take turns spelling words aloud in the target language using spawned notes for prompts. For added practice, include definitions and sentences to solidify your understanding. It's a fun and engaging way to practice spelling, vocabulary, and sentence construction.
Note-Spawning Challenge
Set a timer (using an external device) and see who can spawn as many notes as possible with vocabulary relevant to the environment. Then, paste the notes into the scene where the words are used. This activity is excellent for reinforcing vocabulary in context.
