To ensure Immerse functions correctly in your corporate environment, please ensure the following network ports are open on your firewall. These ports are necessary for real-time communication, voice chat, and multiplayer functionality within the app.

Required Ports

  • Reliable Communication (Real-Time Multiplayer & Sync)

    • UDP: 5055 (Primary port for real-time communication)

  • Unreliable Communication (Less Critical Real-Time Data)

    • UDP: 5056 (Used for less critical, non-guaranteed data communication)

  • Voice Communication (Voice Chat Feature)

    • UDP: 5058 (Primary port for transmitting voice data)

    • TCP: 4533 (Only required if UDP is unavailable)

💡 Why are these ports necessary?

  • UDP Ports 5055 & 5056 (Photon Realtime/PUN/Quantum): These ports enable the core multiplayer functionality within the app, powered by Photon Realtime. They allow users to connect and synchronize actions in real-time, ensuring minimal delay during interactions.

  • UDP Ports 5058 & 4533 (Photon Voice): These ports are specifically used for transmitting voice data between users, utilizing Photon Voice services. Voice communication is crucial for live interactions, and if UDP is unavailable, TCP 4533 will serve as a fallback to ensure voice features remain functional
