🚀 What’s New


✨ NEW FOUNDATIONS LEVEL

The Foundations fluency level for English has been made available. Foundations classes will begin on December 12!!!

  • Foundations classes are for Members who are new to the language.
  • Foundations level is for Members that may be starting from scratch or may be able to answer a few very simple questions or introduce themselves using memorized words and phrases.

"CLASS STARTING" NOTIFICATION

  • If a member has booked a class and is exploring in Immerse, they will now receive a "class starting" notification 2 minutes before the scheduled class that they booked starts!

NEW POST-CLASS SURVEY

  • Each member will now have the opportunity to complete a post-class survey to rate the experience.
  • Members will also be given the opportunity to stay in the lesson or go to their homeroom.

đź‘‹ Hanging out after class?

If members decide to hang out in the class space after class is completed, they will now receive a notification about the "hangout session" ending before it returns members to their homerooms.

NEW PRACTICE SCENARIOS AND AVATARS

  • New practice scenarios have been added to all of our current AI practice scenes that now cover a wider range of language functions per scene.
  • Some of the larger practice scenes also have additional practice avatars to engage with!
  • Lastly, we have added some new items to engage with in certain practice scenes. You'll have to jump in to find out what they are 🔍

NEW WEBAPP SUPPORT

  • A “?” button now appears in the lower-right of every page so Members can easily contact our Support team with questions or search for answers to common questions.

NEW "MY JOURNEY" PAGE ON WEB

  • The new “My Journey” page on the WebApp allows Members to track their progress for several metrics such as days learning, stamps earned, lessons/events attended, points earned, assessment progress, language functions progress, and more!

NEW POLL FEATURE

  • This feature has been built as an instructional tool for Immerse Guides to use to collect polls đź—ł during class.
  • Be on the lookout for a poll in class, and submit your vote for the activity by selecting one of the options!

NEW VISUAL SCENE + ACTIVITY DESIGNS

Scene elements are the instructional tools/stations that are built into scenes that Guides use during class to facilitate activities for learning.

  • Members will now notice a new design to all scene elements/stations.
  • Members will also notice a new visual design to many of the previous class scenes.

🔥 Improvements

  • Translated Tutorials - Translated audio has been added to the tutorial so that the voiceover can now be heard in multiple languages.
  • Tooltips for New Users - Helpful visual tooltips are now defaulted to “On” to help new users orient themselves with how to interact with things inside of Immerse.
  • Sticky Prompt Cards - Prompt cards can now be stuck to any surface and may include images.
  • No Duplicates - When trying to save a note to “My Notes” that has already been saved, there will now be a notification stating that it is a duplicate and it will not be saved again.
  • Language Function Clarity - The Class Details pages now have a “Language Functions” section so members know what language area the class focuses on.
