How do I downgrade my membership to a lower tier?

Just as for upgrading, switching to a lower tier is handled slightly differently according to whether you are using Immerse in VR or Desktop.

Beginning steps for both:

  1. Log into the Immerse website using your account info.
  2. Go to "My Account" by clicking on the profile picture in the top right corner.
  3. Select "Subscription" on the menu at the left.
  4. Click the green "Subscription Options" button.
  5. Select "Manage Subscription" located below the different options.

For VR users

Upon completing step 5, you will be transported to the Oculus subscription page, where you can make changes to your membership. Downgrades will take effect after the current subscription period ends (the next billing cycle).

For Desktop Users

Upon completing step 5 you will be transported to another window where you'll see your subscription information. Click on the green "Change Plan" button.

Select your new lower tier and confirm. Downgrades happen the following billing cycle, so you will not be charged until then. You will continue to have the higher tier (and the credits that come along with it) until the end of your billing cycle.
