How do I upgrade my subscription?

Upgrading is specific to whether you use Immerse in VR or the Desktop App. 

VR subscriptions are handled through Meta, directly in the VR app. 

  1. Log in, and you will spawn in front of your HUB in the Home Room.
  2. Click on the "Subscription" button on the screen.
  3. Choose the membership tier you wish to upgrade to.

5. You now have a new subscription start date and you will be refunded the amount of your previous subscription if you change in the middle of your subscription month. (You only pay the difference between the lower tier and the higher one you upgraded to)

  1. You can also follow the steps below for on the web, and you will be brought to the Meta/Oculus subscription page to handle your subscription.

On Desktop:

  1. Log into your account on the web.
  2. Go to My Account by clicking on the profile icon in the top right corner of your screen,
  3. Select "Subscription" from the menu on the left, and then click the green "Subscription Options" button.

  1. Select "Manage Subscription" located underneath the different options. You'll also notice your current plan is labeled if you have previously upgraded from Freemium.
  2. Select "Change Plan" and choose the plan you'd like to upgrade to and proceed with payment.
    1. You will be immediately upgraded and only charged a prorated amount of the difference between the two plans until your next billing cycle when you'll be charged the full amount of the new plan.
